Terms of service

Effective September 23, 2026

These terms govern use of SlackRelay, provided by Robocoder LLC (“we,” “us,” or “SlackRelay”). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: support@slackrelay.com.

The service

SlackRelay connects selected Slack and Microsoft Teams channels and attempts to relay supported messages, replies, reactions and sender information. Availability and functionality depend on those platforms, your permissions and your configuration. Some content or formatting may not transfer accurately. Messages can be delayed, duplicated or lost; expired queued messages are not delivered.

The service is not a system of record, backup service, compliance archive or emergency communication service. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular delivery time or compatibility with every platform feature.

Your responsibilities

You must be an adult and have permission to connect each workspace, team and channel. Keep administrative access secure, review pairings, notify participants about external sharing, and obtain any notices, approvals or consents required by your organization and applicable law. A private source channel can be paired with a destination whose membership and retention rules differ.

Do not use SlackRelay for unlawful activity, spam, harassment, infringement, unauthorized surveillance, attempts to bypass access controls, or activity that harms the service or its providers. Do not use it for data requiring special contractual or regulatory safeguards unless we have separately agreed in writing to provide those safeguards.

Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in your content. You authorize us to access, process, temporarily store, transmit and display content and sender information as needed to provide and secure the service and follow your configuration. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to share it.

Recipients may retain or redistribute delivered content. Disconnecting a pairing, uninstalling the app or deleting an organization does not recall messages already delivered. We do not control the receiving organization's users or policies.

Third-party services and privacy

You must comply with Slack’s and Microsoft’s applicable terms and maintain the access needed for your integrations. Those providers can change their APIs, permissions or availability. SlackRelay is an independent service and is not endorsed by Slack or Microsoft. Our Privacy policy explains our handling of information.

Fees and changes

Any paid plan, price, billing frequency and cancellation terms will be shown before you agree to a charge. We will not charge for a paid plan without authorization. If pricing or a free offering changes, we will provide notice before the change applies and an opportunity to stop using the affected service. Applicable mandatory refund rights remain in effect.

Suspension and ending use

You can stop using the service and disconnect your integrations at any time. We may limit or suspend access to address security risks, abuse, legal requirements or violations of these terms. We may discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practicable. We may act immediately when necessary to protect users or comply with law. Contact us about remaining account data; deletion is subject to the retention described in our Privacy policy.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. You should maintain your own records and check important communications.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits, business interruption or loss of data. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the fees you paid us for the service during the preceding 12 months. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable mandatory consumer rights.

Updates and general terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the revised terms and date here and provide notice of material changes where required. Changes apply prospectively. If you disagree with updated terms, stop using the service before they take effect.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A separately signed agreement governs where it conflicts with these terms. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that applicable law makes mandatory.
